We now have that letter in hand and I'll e-mail it off to you after I send this (I don't know how to merge 2 e-mails as one). The letter from the Homeowner's association does not yet approve our landscaping plan. When we get the landscaping letter I'll forward that to you. When I met with you in July, we needed to order the windows. The other changes to plan we agreed would become effective when we provided you the Homeowner's Board letter. It is my understanding that my delivery of this letter will complete our approval. I have 2 other items in regard to the Pierce remodel I'd like to address with this e-mail. Item #2 is our driveway. The Pierce driveway before the remodel started was approximately 30'wide at the curb cut, as shown in the survey we submitted. We received DRB approval for plans showing the same 30' width for the remodeled project. The Town of Vail Development Standards Handbook page 11 (and probably in the zoning code) says for the Maximum width for a curb cut for a single farnily, two family/ or P/S driveway is 24' head in, 48' back out. I talked to you last week. You said we we would be counted as a repair and allowed keep the 30' width. I would appreciate your written confirmation of this. Item #3 is also driveway related. The contractor would like the option to do an exposed aggregate finish instead of a "broom finish". He would also like the option to add a slight color tinting to the concrete.
