Pettee is sti11 the owner of the West one-halt and' apparently resides there At thc time the duplex was constructed by Pettee Industries, for rt,[atcvcr reason, ignored the 15 foot side yard setbacks and, in fact, built sonre seven feet over the lot line to the lfest. Sub- sequently, Pettee lndustries subdivided the 1ot into three s-eparate p;;;;i;,'on" under each the East and ltest duplexes and the third Ls all ihe remaining common area. This, if properly done and. surv-yed, should haie been readily apparent under the Town sub- division regulations. A preliminary review of the Townts files fails to show any indica- tibn of any Lvidence of cornpliance with either building inspection, ;i;; ;h".k'or subdivision cbnpliance.
