Dear Ms.Ellefson:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the Town of Vail
Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the Town of Vail
Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s):Your retaining wall,which was built in 2001,is failing and is unsafe in the
area around the fire hydrant.
Since the removal and repair of this wall will require approvals and permits from the Public Works
Department,please call Leonard Sandoval at 479-2198 to find out how to get those necessary permits and
approvals.
Please have all approvals and permits in place within 15 calendar days of receipt of this letter. If you have
any questions or concerns,please feel free to call Leonard or call my office at 477-3417.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help assure that Vail
continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we all strive.
