Re: Illegal lighting/signage
Dear Sir:
One of the many functions of Code Enforcement is to provide for the enforcement of the Town of
Vail Municipal Codes.
It has come to our attention that the above-described property may be in violation of the Town of
Vail Municipal Codes as follows:
Reported Violation(s): You have several illegal signs and some illegal lighting
displayed in your windows.
Section 11-9-2 (Prohibited Signs) of the Town Code states,in part,that:
The following signs are prohibited within the town of Vail:
G. Any gas filled, illuminated or fibeN optic sign that is visible from any part of any
pedestrian or vehicle passageway or walkway;
We are asking that you remove these lights and signs or submit a complete Design Review
application within 14 calendar days from receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result in a
summons being issued.
Your prompt attention regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated and will help assure that
Vail continues to be the desirable and pleasant resort community for which we all strive. Please
