Replace forty existing incompatible smoke detectors Wth analog addressable types. 2. Replace odsting incompatible qfstem q/pe smoke detectors within suites with battery powered station tyPes. 3. Fit all ocisting manual pull stations Wth addressable modules. 4. Provide splitter mother board with four supervised audio circuits. Connect to the existing audio circuit for health club. 5. Provide backup amplifier. 6. Provide addressable modules for non-sprinkled areas such as the kitchen now protected with heat detectors. 7. Connect DC powered devices (floors l-4) to the four supervised circuits provides by the fire alarm control panel and Extended Signal Panel (ESP-102). 8. Connect strobe synchronizer modules to the auxiliary power supply panel. 9. Increase standby Battery capacity as prescribed by High Country Engineering 10. Ensure that sprinkler monitoring devices are connected properly to the fire alarm system; each water flow switch will have a unique point. Tamper switches will be connected to separate point. ll. Repair wiring faults as rquired so that ground faults and shorts are eliminated. | 2. Conduct a thorough test, including verification of alarm signals to Vail dispatch Prior to arranging a final test with the fire department and High Country Engineering. 13. There are cunently four (4) hom circuits, one per floor. lnstall battery back-up in the supplemental power supply identified in #8 8bove. The minimum banery supply to be 7 amp hours. 10. lnstall battery back-up in the vbice alarm system serving the two (2) floors of the Health club. Minimum battery supply to be 12 smp hours. 11. Install wiring supervision of the existing voice alarm panel. 12. Upon comptetion of all the above, the contractor shall conducl a system test verifying comoletion of the above work to be witnessed by our office. The above work should be performed by New Electric and pricing provided for each of the tasks broken down into the above format with e separate estimate/quote fbr laUor and material. 11 is recognized that this is an interim fix and noi all code requirements will necessarlly be satisfied' The work identitied in the subsequent paragraph should be performed by the VAC: 1. tnstall new bettery operated smoke detectors in all residential units/sleeping rooms. Deteclors must be equipped with a battery and local test s$'itch' Z. The VAG must develop and administrative control procedure to assure that eEch of these ctetectors is checked via the tesl s,rlitch once every week.
