The ruling was to rcdo/upgrade all electrical in the units. I un a littlc surprised by this since the scope of the project has not changed. The only part tha was not anticipate4 m pointed out in pcrmit drawings was the fact that we had to open up bathroom walls in order tro replaoe tubs, tlrcrcfore exposing wiring. This ruling comes very late in the proccss without prior wrrring. The drawings wsrc submitted md approvcd the first week of Octobcr. My electrician, George Henry with Bnsh Creek Electio, had a sepuatc meeting with Earnest to make sure wc were fulfilling all requiranents prior to Gomtrl€ocemenl. I feel that a total electrical upgade rmfairly singles rne out. I mr asking you to be fair in this situation and "grmdfather" all cxisting wiring ftat has not bccn exposed. I will gladly replace all wiring that has becn exposod, but to completely rcdo the electrical at this point will severely setback the project. I would have to raschcdule all my subcontractors, lose two of thcse subcurbactors due to the delay, accruc a tromcndous cost over- run, as well as be late for the hotels s€ason oponing.
