The Town of Vail has received a design review application for a sign that was illegally installed on the west sideഀ
of the Valbruna store at 100 East Meadow Drive. Pursuant to Section 11-6-3A, Vail Town Code, only oneഀ
business sign is permitted for the Valbruna. Since there are two other existing Valbruna business signs, thisഀ
application has been denied. Please find attached a copy of the design review action form for this request. Theഀ
subject sign on the west sign of the Valbruna store must be removed immediately.ഀ
The two existing business signs at the front entry of Valbruna were approved by the Town of Vail in 1998, andഀ
are therefore legally non-conforming ("grandfathered") in terms of the maximum number of business signs.ഀ
