Should you choose to move forward with this project, please submit a new design review application with a revised light fixture, utility approvals, and a Revocable Right-of-Way Permit as we discussed previously. The following is a summary of the comments from that review: - Site #1 is located within the Town of Vail owned Sandstone Drive street right-of-way. A Revocable Right-of- Way Permit must be obtained from the Public Works Department. http://www.vailgov.com/docs/dl forms/row application and fees 042508.1)df - The proposed lights may be located within utility easements; therefore, utility company approvals must be obtained. http://vailgov.com/docs/dl forms/DRB Minor Exterior Alteration 021309.pdf - Pursuant to Section 14-10-7, Outdoor Lighting, Vail Town Code; all new exterior light must be "full cutoff' style fixtures that do not emit light above the horizontal plain of the fixture. Manufacturer, Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), or International Dark-Sky Association documentation must be provided to verify that the proposed light fixtures meet the full cutoff standard. Please submit the Revocable Right-of-Way Permit to the Town of Vail Public Works Department; and the utility company approvals and light fixture cut-sheets to the Community Development Department for further review.
