Background: The TOV & VRD have partnered to replace the irrigation system on the Vail Golf Course. The new pump house was designed, approved and constructed in the spring of 2009. As a part of the Design and Review process we were required to either remove or remodel the old structure. After the construction of the new pump structure was complete there were adequate funds available to remodel the old structure as opposed to demolish it. Purpose: To remodel the old pump house structure to provide immediate storage for the golf course maintenance staff and to ensure that a structure is available for future use. As the golf course undergoes a master planning process it was determined that an existing structure would be extremely valuable to keep rather than to try and build a new one in the future. Details: The old pump house structure would be remodeled to mirror the new pump house structure. Please refer to the attached packet for additional detail information. The landscaping for both projects will commence in the fall of 2009 as originally planned however conclusion of landscaping will not occur until Spring of 2010. Thank you for your time.
