General Information: This application is required for all proposals Involving minor changes to buildings and site im-
provements, such as roofing, painting, window additions, landscaping, fends, retainh)g walls, etc. Applicable Vail
Town Code sections can be found at www. ailaav.com under Vail Information - Town Code Online. All projects re-
quiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design
Review cannot be accepted until all required Information is received by the Community Development Department, as

Hi Lynn,
I was going to have the porch door replaced in Vail. The contractor mentioned that he has to get some permits and permission
from you to proceed with the job. The present door latch has broken and the handle does not stay closed. When big storms
come by the front door swings out and has cracked the wood leading to the porch.
If you can send me a letter Okaying the work to be performed, we can get started. I don't know it you have a signature that
you can attach to an email. Otherwise a letter with your signature would work. My home address is as follows:

I have looked over the circumstances and have written you an e-mail, hear please see
some of the doors I am basing my comments on.
This option comes with clear glass low a tempered; I think and is about $900. Plus pre
hung and mortise for locks, and can be right or left hand and would swing in. this would
apply to my option (1) I believe I can get a door like this with a clear glass for about this
same price.
