quiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design
Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as
outlined in the submittal requirements. The project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and/or the Plan-
ning and Environmental Commission. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a
building permit is issued and construction commences.

Rusty Corrugated Metal (RCM) has completely altered the mindset of the metal roofing industry. has been a
problem to many roof owners for a number of years. Ironically, 'Rusty Roof- is the latest trend in roofing products. Based on
the original look of tum-of-the-century mining towns of the west, 'Rusty Roof- is new steel designed to look one hundred
years old.
Rusty Corrugated Metal is a highly versatile material that has an aesthetically appealing matte finish. Original bam tin is
actually galvanized sheet metal that has rusted through in places causing streaking and rust patches. 'Rusty Roof- has a
similar look but achieves the deep dark rust much quicker than original galvanized roofing. This trend in roofing has not
come without strong debate on its functionality. Many argue that 'Rusty Roor wont have the lifeesspan of other roofing
products. To counter this claim, RCM products are designed with a much heavier gauge than normal steel roofing. A few key
tips on taking care of a rusty roof can also greatly extend the life of RCM products. Keeping roofs free of debris and failing
objects will keep the gauge of rust from being disturbed, therefore extending the life of your roof.
