RENOVATION AREA DESCRIPTION: The Residence in building #9, unit #3 is planned far selective renovation. The interior walls are covered in sheetrock with a heavy tro�c�eled-on texture, and the ceilings are sheetrock like the walls. The floors are covered with carpet, and ceramic tiles. ""� CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATiONS: Laboratory analysis of the bulk samples, indicate that Asbestos was detected in all three samples. However, the Asbestos content is less than the Regulatory Limit (Greater than 1% Asbestos). "I'he purpose of �he inspectiocvsurvey was to locate and sample suspected Asbestos cantaining materials �hat mi?ht be present in the area of the Residence that :s planned for selective i ntzr or renovation. The inspection was made, and the samples were collected by John R. Peterman, an A.H.ti.R.A. and State of Colorado Certified Asbestos Inspector. Great care was �aken during the inspe�tion and sampling to be as accurate as possibie. lt should be noted that minimal damage was done to the existing buildir�g structures during t�►e inspectian so there is no documentation for unseen conditions or stored items. �11 sarnples ��ere analyzed by DGVS Science Lab in Wheatridge, CO. This laboratory is deemed "Proficient" in the E.P..A.Quality Assurance (QA) program for the determination of asbestos in bulk materials, and is accredited by the American Hygiene Association (AHAI. SA±VIPLING PROTOCOL: A random sampling scheme was used to sample the suspect materials that were discovered.
