Frontage Road Vail, CO 81657 Re: Proposed Site Improvements at the Camelot Townhouses 2801 Basingdale Blvd. Dear Design Review Board: On behalf of the Camelot Townhouses HOA, I am bringing before you a proposal for minor site improvements to walkway and retaining walls in front of the Townhouses, along Basingdale Blvd.. Due to inadequate site drainage and deterioration, approximately 772 s.f. of existing brick pavers will be replaced with new subsurface drain pipes and tumbled concrete pavers. Additionally, 130 ft. of existing wood tie retaining/landscape walls in front of the building will be replaced with tumbled concrete MSE walls per the attached specification. The two existing planters in the parking area will be removed due to their presently poor condition and to help facilitate snow removal in the future. In place of these planters, we are proposing that three new planters be introduced in the walkway to help break up the building fagade, as well as, create individual entries for the units. Thank you for your time and consideration with this project. Sincerely, Ken Bridges, AIA Principal BLUELINE ARCHITECTS, P.C. 421 Main St. C1, PO Box 574, Minturn, CO 81645 970- 827 -5400 (o) 970- 827 -5401 (f) info @bluelinearchitects.com -;- M i n Lp R M Kf J"
