TOV-FD would like to be on-site to test their issues with all the elevators
Roof access from stair 4 is ok per TOV-FD
Roof access ladder at Stair 4 needs extend past roof hatch 3 feet
Stand pipe in stair 4 needs to be roughed in 100%.
BDA Antenna’s need to be tested with TOV-FD on-site for functionality
Need to verify the BDA system is hooked up to the Emergency Generator Power
Building address needs to be above the garage entry in plain clear lettering to be visible (141 East Meadow Drive)
FDC’s need to be clearly labeled where they are servicing, and how much pressure is needed to supply building.
Fire Alarm panel needs to have clearly written rooms numbers on it
TOV-FD is ok with all signage issued by Michael Suman
TOV-FD would like to walk all permanent signage once it is up before TCO. They will walk this when they walk the smoke detectors.
TOV-FD would like to shut down all power to the building and run on emergency power and walk entire building to make sure there is adequate lighting
It will take two days to test the Fire Alarm’s, anticipating to test on March 3rd & 4th
Would like to start all tests with the TOV-FD on March 3rdnd &4th
Storage rooms on the 8th floor by elevator 3 & 4 need to have smoke detectors and sprinkler heads installed
8th floor east corridor- sprinkler pipe needs to have the all-thread installed on the unistrut.
All electrical panels and mechanical equipment need to have clear permanent labeling.
Need to have sprinkler orange caps removed from heads in TCO areas per the Phased Occupancy Plan.
Chapter 9 – Impairment Permit – Possible solution for upper levels with sprinkler heads.
No doors allowed being propped open. Doors must be cleared of all material for TCO in stair cores
Stair 7 & 8 TOV-FD would like them to be Dry walled and taped for TCO.
TOV-FD would like to have all documentation on load tests and certification for the emergency generator.
Level 4 – once carpet is laid, smoke detectors can be installed instead of heats
No propane allowed in building after TCO per TOV-FD
Move all material away from Knox Boxes so there is 100% clear access
Need to have permanent doors installed in the Fire Command Center for TCO
Need to have a clean set of as-builts for the Fire Command Center for use by TOV-FD. Includes overview of Architectural layout, Life Safety Plan, Plans will show all control valves for
fire, domestic water, electrical rooms. Fire riser locations, gas shut off valves. Mechanical shut offs, and Plumbing shut offs.
Need dedicated wall phone for the TOV-FD installed in the Fire Command Center By Phase 1 Occupancy
Need to have copies of the keys for the elevators in the Fire Command Center for TOV-FD access.
All elevators need to be numbered and need to be identified which elevators can fit a medical stretcher (Elevators 1-4A-4B-5A-5B) (Blue Star Of Life).
Level 3 lobby need to have BCER do an analysis to show if there is adequate pedestrian egress.
Level 3 Stair 3 Trash room – need to have the ceiling installed and light mounted
Construction door into the pool from the loading dock needs to be sketched up, detailed, and shown for construction access only. Once that is done it needs to be submitted to the TOV-FD
Frontier Fire Protection needs to install sprinkler heads in the pool per TOV-FD
TOV-FD needs to have the 2 Brass Red Head 2 ½” hose connectors – Mike McGee has the Make and Model on his desk
When the pool will be charged, TOV-FD has requested that the pool installed meet with them to go over chlorination
Bottom of Stair 11-Railing needs to be fixed so you can open the door crawl space under the elevator equipment room 359
Does the crawl space called out in note 37 need to have sprinkler protection? The Weitz Co. will write an RFI.
Pool Pump room- Frontier Fire Protection needs to replace damaged sprinkler heads
Stair 3 between level 2 & 3- Fire sprinkler stand pipe needs to have brace installed from the floor to the pipe
Stair 3 Garage level vestibule – need to protect the pipe near the floor from damage
Between stair 3 & 4 garage level need to look at fire sprinkler design for coverage. Not getting sufficient coverage under all the chilled/hot water pipes per TOV-FD
Need to have BDA system coverage in the Fuel oil pump room. Verify Coverage of BDA throughout entire central plant.
TOV-FD has requested to have clear signage above the Veeder-Root Monitor –“Fuel Level Monitor”
Need location for the scuba gear in the central plant
All dry storage needs to be adequately clear of all overhead sprinkler heads
Need to share the parking/storage plan with the TOV-Police and Martin. (Jason Miller Plan)
Need to get heat into the fire protection water entry room on the garage level per TOV-FD. The Weitz Co. will write an RFI.
Need to have both remote anunciators up and operational
Need to have clearly listed on TCO plan which stairs, elevators, and electrical room the TOV-FD will have complete access to and will be free of obstructions 100% of the time
Need to have sufficient lighting at the South-West entrance to the site for pedestrians and at all exit passage way egress points at the exterior.
All propane is not allowed to be under a tent, needs to be visible outside the tented area
