● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
1 Please include the architect of record stamp and signature on the plans per Colorado State Board requirements
2 Revise notes on window U-value sheet A4.3 to indicate .35 minimum.
3 Revise notes on sheet A4.3 to indicate 2009 IRC
4 Revise elevations and wall section to show a minimum 4” from stucco weep screed to grade
5 Add note to plans for carbon monoxide detectors to be installed throughout existing home per IRC
6 Coordinate rafter size and insulation with structural plans. Structural plans show 2x10 rafters. R-49 insulation is required.
7 Revise sheet A4.3 to indicate minimum R-49 insulation
Structural Comments:
8 Revise plans to indicate 2009 IBC/IRC
9 Complete the attached special inspection forms for welding inspection
Plumbing Comments:
10 Include gas piping plan for all gas piping. Show all pipe size, length and BTU or CFH
Mechanical Comments:
11 Include mechanical plans showing equipment room layout and equipment venting.
Electrical Comments:
12 Include electrical panel schedule and load calculations per 2008 NEC
