BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS Architectural Comments: 1 Revise plans to reference the 2009 IBC, R-2 occupancy 2 Revise plans to include a 1 hour roof/ceiling construction detail for the new roof area, and 1 hour construction for the new steel framing in the garage level per IBC table 601. 3 Revise window schedule to show safety glazing and windows W1/3 and W1/4 4 Revise building section to show insulation R-values at new walls and roof. R-20 and R-49 minimum are required per 2009 IECC. 5 Revise building section to show roof material and underlayment 6 Revise wall section to show wall finish materials, insulation, weather resistive barrier, flashing at the exterior wall per IBC 107.2.4. 7 North elevation is not in the plan sets. Show overhang height above finish level at exterior patio 8 Revise window schedule to show minimum .35 U-value at all new windows per 2009 IECC Structural Comments: 9 Please complete pages 3&4 of the attached Town of Vail Special inspection packet Plumbing Comments: 10 Include plumbing plans for the new parking level bathroom. 11 Include gas piping plan and BTU sizing for the new gas fireplace Electrical Comments: 12 Please include the panel schedule, load calculations and one line drawing on the full size plan sheets 13 Include notes on the electrical lighting plan for a minimum of 50% of new lighting to be high efficacy per 2009 IECC
