The storage areas will be separated from areas accessible to the building occupants by temporary fencing.The access to the fenced areas will be managed by the Weitz Company throughout the phased occupancy period of the building.The storage areas will only be accessibte to construction personnel. To ensare that the storage of commodities within the garage will not exeeed the capabilities of the automatic sprinkler system, we have provided the following"rules"to the Weitz Company. + The sprinkler system within the garage was designed with a density to provide protection of Ordinary Groap II hazards. For the purposes of the temporary storage,the limitations within Chapter 13, Miscellaneous Storage,of NFPA 13 must be followed. • The sprinkler system is capable of providing protection for Class I to Class IV commodities,Group A plastics,rubber tires and rolled paper. • Storage Heights SHALL NOT exceed 10 feet. Due to the ceiling height in the garage, we recommend tliat storage heights not exceed 8 feet. • Storage of plastics should not exceed 5 feet. • A minimum of l8 inches below the sprinkler deflector must be kept clear at all times. • Ali non-essential materials and trash should be removed on a daily basis. • A minimum clear clrive isle width of 14 feet shall be maintained throughout the storage area. • Egress paths shall be�l�aintained to all stairs with a minimum 44 inch clear width.
