Mokim nce 6-2 -10 Mr. Mike Vaughan Vail Fire and Emergency Services 42 West Meadow Drive Vail Co. 81657 RE: Tree Tops Condos, Unit 2 -E This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will be performed by Western States Fire Protection to accommodate the renovation in unit 2 -E at Tree Tops Condos. Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows: : From existing system, add (1) fire sprinkler head for required coverage to accommodate new door addition in existing hallway. All work performed will be in compliance with NFPA 13 and local requirements. This is a copper system. Any added materials will be compatible with the existing system It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970 - 618 -3294.
