For the April meeting, we are bringing together the Vail Economic Advisory Council
and the Vail Emerging Leaders. The purpose of the meeting is to openly discuss and
share challenges, insights, and perspectives on making a life in Vail.
Questions to consider and discuss:
Making a life in Vail
• What path did you navigate to create a life for yourself in Vail?
• How did you start a business?
• How did you buy a home?
Mentorship, leadership development, mental health
• How did leaders mentor young people? How should they do this effectively?
• What resources are needed for mentorship and leadership development?
• How are we doing with mental health access and resources?
What’s missing in our community today?
• What infrastructure is needed to help create community in Vail?
• What programming is needed to support connecting with others?
• How can we show appreciation for our workforce?
Finally, what does life in Vail look like in ten years if we’ve successfully addressed the
challenges to making a life in Vail?
