FOUNDATION REPORT: The Foundation Report is a monthly summary of taxable sales in the Vail Village and Lionshead neighborhoods by industry segment (retail, restaurant, lodging), with five sections: 1. Retail, Restaurant, and Lodging Sales: By industry segment for VV & LH combined. 2. Retail Sales: VV, LH and combined. 3. Restaurant Sales: VV, LH and combined. 4. Lodging Sales: VV, LH and combined. 5. Five-Year Monthly Report: by neighborhood by sector. Data is sourced from the monthly Town of Vail Business Review and reflects the most recent available information. SEASONAL REPORT: Produced twice a year, the Seasonal Report expands on the Foundation Report by analyzing sales for the summer (May–October) and winter (November–April) seasons. It shows aggregate taxable sales for Vail (all neighborhoods and industry sectors combined) compared to Aspen, Breckenridge, and Steamboat Springs. This report provides competitive insights for Vail relative to peer communities.
