Re: Town of Vail RFP – Chamonix Site Master Plan
Dear Randy,
Thank you for your recent proposal for the Town of Vail Chamonix Site master plan project. The Town recognizes your team’s formidable experience in planning, design and development
of the built environment, both within and without the Eagle Valley, and appreciates your efforts to address this Request for Proposals in a timely, concise and thoughtful manner.
As you are aware, the Town received fourteen proposals for this project. Following review of all proposals, the Town selected five teams to participate in an interview process based
on their ranking by a selection committee comprised of Staff and citizens. Interviews were held at the Town offices on Thursday, October 18, 2007, and the Town will now proceed with
further interviews with three selected teams in the coming weeks.
Although well qualified, your proposal did not present the desired balance or “blend” of team strengths judged to be critical to the success of the project. Therefore, I must thank
you for your submission and inform you that the Town will not be conducting any further review of your proposal at this time.
