$2,000,000 The Town acquired the parcel for the purpose of constructing a West Vail Fire Station Previous Master PlanAugust, 2005 Previously adopted master plan included: Employee Housing
XX acres per unit Fire Station Drive-thru station with access off of Chamonix Road Dedicated land for community open space and park 20 ft. landscape buffer along north property boundary
Goals Optimize the site’s potential Locate the Fire Station on the former Wendy’s Parcel to ensure best layout and access for emergency service operations Evaluate improved development
opportunities for employee housing Possible integrated mixed-use opportunities Maximize sustainable design opportunities Objectives Design an innovative Fire Station to meet the Town’s
current and anticipated future needs Provide adequate living quarters for emergency service workers Incorporate additional community uses into the development Provide efficient and safe
