SPRINKLER SHOP DRAWING SUBMITTAL
VAIL PLAZA HOTEL - VAIL, COLORADO
Dear Chief McGee:
Rolf Jensen & Associates, Inc. (RJA) has reviewed the sprinkler shop drawing submittal from
AIIState Fire Protection, dated June 3, 2010, addressing the sprinkler protection of atrium
glazing for the Vail Plaza Hotel project in Vail, Colorado. The submittal includes sheets 1
through 3, hydraulic calculations and a sprinkler cut sheet. The scope of work adds 10
concealed pendant sprinklers to the existing design. Architectural drawings specifying shelf
construction to house these sprinklers will be forthcoming and subject to our review.
Sprinklers located within the atrium are zoned to activate the atrium smoke exhaust system.
RJA is marking the drawings "APPROVED. No exceptions noted".
