Mr. Vaughan, This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will be performed by Westem States Fire Protection at Fuzziwigs candy. Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows. : Change two existing upright heads to pendant for new dropped ceiling. : Change two existing upright 165 degrees heads to 286 degrees heads above candy cooking appliances. : Plug one head were dividing wall will be removed. This is a steel pipe wet system. All added materials will be compatible to the existing system. It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
