Above Fire Pit 96" These clearances are from all materials (combustion and non- combustible). The 2006 International Mechanioal Code requires that: "Heat producing equipment and appliances shall be installed to maihtaln the required clearances to combustible construction as specified in the listing and manufacturers Instructions.' 2009 IMC - 304.8 Based on the requirements of the code, the manufacturers installation Instructions ana the installation plan (attached), the required clearances are being maintained. In addition, please note that the manufacturer requirements include that the Installer be certified by the National Fireplace Institute.
