quiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design
Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as

Subs Restroom Analysis for a proposed restaurant space at Village Inn Plaza
The architect has performed a basic code analysis to determine occupancy load, and restroom requirements. The
architect has referred to the IBC 2009 as adopted by the Town of Vail.
Note, the two lower level retail occupancies not included here, are equipped with their own 1 toilet/1 lav reshmms.
Area Analysis for occupant load:
The revised public restroom on the second level must support occupants for

WOO RESTAURANT- PERTINENT CODE SECTIONS
14 -10 -4: ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTIONS, DECKS, BALCONIES, STEPS,
BAY WINDOWS, ETC.:
A. Architectural projections including eaves, roof overhangs, awnings, louvers, and
similar shading features; sills, belt courses, cornices, and similar features; and flues and
chimneys may project not more than four feet (4') into a required setback area or into a
required distance between buildings.
F. Towers, spires, cupolas, chimneys, flagpoles, and similar architectural features not
usable as habitable floor area may extend above the height limit a distance of not more
than twenty five percent (25 %) of the height limit nor more than fifteen feet (15').
14 -10 -5: BUILDING MATERIALS AND DESIGN:
G. Rooftop heating and air conditioning equipment, large vent stacks, elevator
penthouses and similar features should be avoided; however, if necessary, shall be
designed to be compatible with the overall design of the structure or screened from view
of all adjacent properties. Rooftop antennas shall not be permitted unless as allowed
under a conditional use review as specified within the zoning code.
