- There are NO orifices or springs to chanse
- Remember, the gas tracks .the air flo�v.
- Reference: I�ZACH-05 Owners manual. If you do not have a cnpy of the Owner's rzaanual �o to
www.patkelco_com — Boilers — Technical Resources — Boiler Manuals -- MACI-�-05 O&hI 1`Jlanual and
download a copy.
- A copy of the Technical Dat� sheet concernin� �-IiQh Altitude installations for a11 P-K boilers' is at the end_
- Do not chan�e any paramet�� unless specified or absolutely needed. Nate: Chan�ing of the parameters may
cause the boiler to operate izinproperly.
- Proceed as you would for a normal startup.
- Verify ktAe inlet gas pressc�re at high and lo�� fire is 3.�"wc to 14"wc.
- Vezify the e�haust pressuz�e at the vent collar of the boiler at laigh a�d luw fire. T�.e range as -.04" wc to
+.44"�vc.
1. Adjust hzgh fire combustion. Can you ac.hieYr; 4.� to �.2 % 02? �� sa, high fire is comp�ete.
Proceed to step # 13. If the high fire 02 is be?ow 4.8°'o and caz�'t be adjusted to ��ithin the
range of 4.8 to �.2�70' O?,, the high fire fan sp�ed. n�:eds lo�cuered because there isn't enough
oxygen.
2. Pzess the [Mode) button until "STBY" is on che disp:lay screen ;for a second. -
3. Press [Step] and (1�IodeJ at the same tim� and hold them for 5 seconds until "CODE" is on
the disp�ay screen. (If�'the display now reads °`PARA", press the [Mode) button until
"STBY" is on the display screen. Repeat �tep 3.)
4. Press [Step]. The di5p�ay will now reac� "C�1" ar any combination of two numbers.
5. Use the [+] oz' [-] buttoz� to change the di�piav to "�'U5". This is the serv�ce access code.
6. Press the [Store] button. The display «ill blink.
7. Pzess the [:�Iodej button two times. "PA,R��" will be fln the display screen.
8_ Press the [Step] button to go to parameter �`� 13". �I�hzs is �lie high �ire fan speed �ettinQ.
(7he display will only scroll one directzon. Tt r��ill fla�h the parameter number briefly. Then,
it will change to the pauE�ameter setting. If yc�a press [Step] ance it wil� redisplay the
parameter number,)
9. Lower Parameter 13 b� 2. Example: OE��Z sett�r�� � 56, Ne��� setting = 54.
10. After a change is mad� press the (Stoare} button and then press the [1V�ode] butto� until
"STB�r"' is on the clispxay screen for a secunci.
1 l. Recheck and readjust high fire cornbustic�n to achieti-e ��.�3 to 5,2 �Io O?. If the �2 is still low
repeat step`s 7 througI'i 11, until the correct 02 reading can be achie�7ed.
12. When complete with the hiah fire adjustment w.rite dawii tk�e zaew parameter 13 settina in the
back of the Owner's manual and on this sh�et fo:- re:;�erence.
