Call to Order 2. Citizen Participation 3. Main Agenda 3.1 Approval of May 5, 2025 AIPP Board meeting minutes. Kathy motions to approve the minutes, Tracy seconds, all in favor. May 5, 2025 Minutes.pdf 3.2 AIPP Summer Programming. • HYBYCOZO – Forest Light scheduled installation is June 19 on the lower bench of Ford Park. • Molly is coordinating the installation of the sculptures gifted from Kent and Vick Logan - Rattlesnake Figure by Thomas Houseago in proximity of the Vail Art Studio in Ford Park and the Matthew Wedel Flower Tree sited for the Lionshead Welcome Center. • Studio opening/ribbon cutting/open studio on August 3 will include Donor recognition, gift of artwork, HYBYCOZO, as well as possible artist discussion. • Discussion of possible Eagle County Art Challenge at Avanti Food and Beverage to determine the first artist to work in the Vail Art Studio. 3.3 Update on Town of Vail Capital Projects and Private Development Projects. • Gore Creek Promenade – DRB approval and it is going out to Bid in June. Will know the budget better after submittals. Artists have been informed on Board interest in looking at elements of both artist presentations. • Dobson Ice Arena – waiting for proposals from art consultants to review at a future meeting. • Future private developments with public art mitigation: Lot 10, Cornerstone, Apollo (talked to town planner about a one bedroom/studio as possibility), Lionshead Circle Residences. 4. Coordinator Updates • Town Council to visit the Art Studio – Tuesday, June 3 • Public art collection cleaning on June 11 • Frank Carfaro sculptures installed with an opening on June 12 • Art on the Block - Third Thursdays – June 19 – funding provided by Cultural Heritage Committee. • Art Walks July 2-August 27 • July 7 is the next scheduled Board meeting • Vail Beaver Creek Magazine including AIPP advertisement and articles are now available. 5. Site Visit to Art Studio, Ford Park. • Board reviews locations for the HYBYCOZO temporary sculpture sites. • Board reviews and approves location of the Thomas Houseago Rattlesnake Figure sculpture to be placed north of the existing picnic shelter as that location was identified in the Ford Park Master Plan for future sculpture locations and recommended by Town Staff. 6.
