Description of the Request:
• Seek approval to add 22 new units or 53,266 GRFA. This equates to an
additional 12 units ( +8.4 %) and 28,243 GRFA ( +20.2%) that is allowed
in the current HDMF zoning.
• Also to increase the building height and encroach in the rear yard setback
per the plans.
• Upgrade the exteriors of all existing buildings.
• Remove the surface parking and construct in a below ground parking
structure that is landscaped above and adds 1.1 acres of open space, while
adding an additional 109 parking spaces to assist with the Town of Vail
parking shortage.
• Add employee- housing units to accommodate 85% of the new employees
required for the new facilities.
• Enclose the back -of -house at the first level of Building B to clean up the
visual impact from the Ford Park Access.
• Further enhance the Ford Park Access from the property line to the
existing access.
• Cleanup Mill Creek.
