Stronger Community Connection J o i n i n g a P r o g r a m Invited Merchants will receive an Activation Card which allows Yiftee to restrict the cards to only work at the local merchants in the program. The card comes with instructions to activate the system. By doing so, merchant is OPTING IN to the program and agreeing to the merchant agreement. Request an additional activation card for each location as well as to enroll any additional POS systems (with different IDs) the business uses. Once completed, the activation card balance will reflect a $0.00 balance if enrolled correctly. Within a few hours the business will be listed on the community card page map. If the card does not cover the entirety of the transaction, split the transaction into two and accept another form of payment for the remainder. You’re paid out the same day, the same way you would be with all of your other credit card transactions. Confirm the card balance. (Digital cards show the real-time balance of the card. The printed voucher has a QR code to access the balance.) If the voucher is less than the transaction amount, run the card for its balance first, then accept another form of payment. Do not run the card for more than its balance. Manually enter the card’s information, do not use for tips unless it’s preauthorized. You’re paid out the same day, the same way you would be with all of your other credit card transactions.
