BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS Architectural Comments: 1 Revise sheet A1.0 to indicate the construction type as I-B per TOV records 2 Revise plans to provide minimum clearances to combustibles and a non-combustible hearth per table 4 (page 3) of the ICC ES report number ESR-2401for the Mason-lite fireplace. Refer to ICC ES report section 5.1 conditions of use. The ICC ES report governs the installation requirements, the letter written by Bill Harris is in conflict with the requirements of the ICC ES report and listing. 3 Show 2 hour shaft wall construction for the chimney venting per IBC 708.4 Plumbing Comments: 4 Include a gas pipe plan with CFH and gas pipe sizing stamped by a Colorado State Licensed Engineer. Verify BTU input of proposed gas log set. Mechanical Comments: 5 Include a venting and combustion air plan for the fireplace stamped by a Colorado State Licensed Engineer. Please note the maximum listed height is 40’ for the chimney per section 3.2 of the ICC ES report.
