RESOLVED WITH WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE ARCHITECT BEFORE
CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES IN THOSE AREAS.
04 PLAN DIMENSIONS ARE TO FACE OF STUD OR FACE OF CONCRETE,
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. SECTION AND ELEVATION DIMENSIONS ARE TO TOP OF
CONCRETE, TOP OF PLYWOOD, OR TOP OF WALL PLATES OR BEAMS UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED.
05 IN THE EVENT THAT ADDITIONAL DETAILS OR GUIDANCE 15 NEEDED BY THE
CONTRACTOR FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ANY ASPECTS OF THIS PROJECT, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT. FAILURE TO GIVE AMPLE
NOTICE SHALL RELIEVE ARCHITECT OF RESPONSIBILITY.
06 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SATISFYING ALL APPLICABLE CODES
AND OBTAINING ALL PERMITS AND REQUIRED APPROVALS. THIS PROJECT IS
GOVERNED BY THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, 2003 EDITION. CODE
COMPLIANCE IS MANDATORY. THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL NOT PERMIT
WORK THAT DOES NOT CONFORM TO ALL RELEVANT CODES INCLUDING UBC AND ALL
LOCAL AND REGIONAL CODES.
01 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD COORDINATE AND OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM THE
ARCHITECT 4 ENGINEER BEFORE ANY CUTTING, NOTCHING OR DRILLING OF ANY
CAST -IN -PLACE CONCRETE, STEEL FRAMING, OR ANY OTHER STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS
WHICH MAY AFFECT THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE BUILDING.
08 IT 16 THE INTENT AND MEANING OF THESE DOCUMENTS THAT THE CONTRACTOR AND
EACH SUBCONTRACTOR PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, TRANSPORTATION,
SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, ETC. TO OBTAIN A COMPLETE JOB WITHIN THE RECOGNIZED
STANDARDS OF THE INDUSTRY.
09 VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS, CONDITIONS AND UTILITY LOCATIONS ON THE JOB SITE PRIOR
TO BEGINNING ANY WORK OR ORDERING ANY MATERIALS. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY
CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES IN THE DOCUMENTS IMMEDIATELY.
10 THESE DOCUMENTS ARE INTENDED TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND
SERVICES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ALL WORK DESCRIBED HEREIN. IT IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT
ANY CONDITIONS WHICH WILL NOT PERMIT CONSTRUCTION ACCORDING TO THE INTENTIONS
OF THESE DOCUMENTS. IT 15 THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE
DETAILS AND/OR DIRECTIONS REGARDING DESIGN INTENT WHERE IT IS ALTERED BY
EXISTING CONDITIONS OR WHERE NEGLECTED IN THE DOCUMENTS.
11 ANY MATERIALS PROPOSED FOR SUBSTITUTION OF THOSE SPECIFIED OR CALLED OUT BY
TRADE NAME IN THESE DOCUMENTS SHALL BE PRESENTED TO THE . ARCHITECT FOR
REVIEW. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT SAMPLES WHEN REQUIRED BY THE ARCHITECT,
AND ALL SUCH SAMPLES SHALL BE REVIEWED BY THE ARCHITECT BEFORE THE WORK IS
PERFORMED. WORK MUST CONFORM TO THE APPROVED SAMPLES. WORK WHICH DOES
NOT CONFORM SHALL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE.
12 THE BUILDING INSPECTOR SHALL BE NOTIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR WHEN
THERE IS NEED OF INSPECTION AS REQUIRED BY THE INTERNATIONAL
BUILDING CODE OR ANY LOCAL CODE OR ORDINANCE.
13 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY AND CARE OF ADJACENT
PROPERTIES DURING CONSTRUCTION, FOR COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL AND STATE O.S.H.A.
REGULATIONS, AND FOR THE PROTECTION OF ALL WORK UNTIL IT 16 DELIVERED
COMPLETED TO THE OWNER.
14 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY AND COORDINATE ALL OPENINGS THROUGH FLOORS,
CEILINGS, AND WALLS WITH ALL ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING,
AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS
