Vail Information —Town Code On -line (Title 11 Signs). An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all
required information is received by the Community Development Department. Design Review approval lapses unless

Hey Mike,
Temporary Site Development Signs and Construction Signs are not intended as advertising for developers,
realtors, or contractors. Instead, these types of signs are intended to communicate basic information about a
construction project including an emergency contact person.
The proposed temporary site development sign for 395/405 Forest Road must be revised to comply with the
provisions of Section 11 -7 -6, Temporary Site Development Signs, Vail Town Code. These regulations can be

There shall be no lighting associated with the sign, and the sign shall be mounted to the installed construction

For your reference, the provisions of 11 -7 -6, Temporary Site Development Signs, Vail Town Code, are as
follows:
11 -7 -6: TEMPORARY SITE DEVELOPMENT SIGNS
A. Description: A sign permitted to identify and describe a project under construction and the associated
hazardous conditions during large scale development periods as determined by the town council.
1. Size: Any site development sign shall not exceed forty two inches by fifty three inches (42" x 53') in
dimension.
2. Number: One sign per building frontage upon a site.
3. Location: Signs shall be mounted on construction fencing. In the absence of construction fencing, a two (2)
sided sign mounted on a four by four inch (4 x 4') post may be placed within a landscaped planter.
4. Lighting: Not permitted.
5. Special Provisions. Temporary site development signs shall be removed prior to the issuance of a temporary
certificate of occupancy.
6. Content: No content other than listed below shall be included on a temporary site development sign:
a. Temporary site development signs shall include the following information:
(1) Project name.
(2) Building permit number.
(3) Contact information. Only one name, one phone number and one e -mail address shall be permitted.
(4) Physical address.

b. Temporary site development signs may include the following information:
(1) Staff approved development slogans.
(2) Brief factual description of the project.

PROOFS / QUOTES::
IGS will prepare proofs for review prior to your approval for production - all proofs I quotes are good for 30 days. If you decide
not to move forward with the sign project, you will be billed for the design and administrative time involved to prepare said proofs.
Please review your proof for accuracy of spelling, colors, size & content. Once signed -off on, errors & their correction are the
customer's responsibility. Images shown are representations only. The proportions, colors and clarity may vary on actual product,
depending on method of fabrication. If you are unsure of anything, please call to discuss.
DESIGN::
In order to minimize art & design charges; logos, artwork or layouts must be provided in a preferred format such as those listed
below. There will be a minimum design I admin. charge of .25 hrs 1 $ 25 per job, plus any additional time required for revisions
or manipulations to prep logos j files for production based on our hourly rate of $ 100.00. All designs & concepts are the property
of IGS and cannot be used without written consent.
Aceppted Formats :: Adobe Illustrator (ai, .eps - create outlines for fonts), Core/ Draw - version 12 (.cdr), Window Metafile (.wm f)
Digital- Printing Formats Only :: Adobe Photoshop (.psd), jpeg & tiff files. Modifications to these types of files are time consuming and will
be based on our hourly rate. Resolution must be a minimum of 150 dpi at actual size. Please contact us for details on image size & resolution.

INSTALLATION::
IGS will install all signs at a rate of $ 85.00 per man, per hour. If a lift or crane is required, we will provide a written estimate. Posts
and miscellaneous hardware will be additional and calculated at the end of the installation, unless otherwsie noted.
PERMITS::
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to be aware of and apply for any necessary permits, or to obtain approval from
Property Management, Associations, etc. IGS will provide drawings, photos & specifications to facilitate this process
for a fee of $ 180.00.
PAYMENT::
All signs under $ 400.00 will be COD. Signs over $ 400.00 require a 50% deposit payable by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
Taxes and shipping are not included in pricing. Work will not begin until a signed approval & deposit is received or other
arrangements have been made.
PRODUCTION TIME::
We do our best to expedite your project. Custom signs can take from seven to twenty (7 -20) working days from receipt of
deposit, depending on approved product. This does not include the time involved in preparing a proof / quote for your
approval. If you need your signs sooner, let us know and we will do what we can to accomodate you. Rush charges may apply.
GUARANTEE::
All products j installations are guaranteed for one (1) year against defects in materials, under normal conditions.
