The changes involve a request by a unit buyer to modify the roof terrace that is at the east end of the C-building at the new unit leveL The requested changesinclude: • A modification to the chimney on the south east corner of the terrace to make the chimney larger ' and change the finish material from stucco to stone veneer. The previous design transitioned the chimney at the terrace from a wide stone face(that was the existing Manor Vail chimney facing Vail Valley Drive)to a smaller projection clad in stucco. This change will visually extend the � chimney from below the full height in one material. • Contained within the new enlarged chimney will be an outdoor gas appliance fireplace as shown on the plans. This is an all stainless steel outdoor unit. � • The addition of planters and a built-in cooking area to the terrace. These changes are not visible from the ground. The planters will be equipped with a drip irrigation system and will contain perennials. Due to weight restrictions,most of the plants will be no larger than shrubs. , • The buyers have also opted to install a hot tub on the terrace. A location for a hot tub was approved in the original design and the proposed hot tub is in this location. The selected spa is slightly smaller than the one we depicted in the approved drawings.
