BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
1 Indicate building construction type per IBC ch. 6 on the plans. Town of Vail records indicate IB construction type for the Landmark building. Please include construction type and
code summary on the full size plan sheets
2 Indicate on plans all new framing to be non-combustible construction. Include wall and ceiling construction details. IBC 602.2.
Revise structural plans to provide non-combustible framing per IBC 602.2 for the new loft floor area and stairs. Also include 2 hour floor/ceiling assembly per IBC table 601. Fire
treated wood is not permitted for structural floors, or stairs. IBC 603 item 25
