NEC 680.27(c)3 does not allow radiant heat in or below hot tubs/pools. This problem recently came up on Bridge street and also at Arrabelle. The Arrabelle balconies have radiant heat for snowmelt and also a hot tub rough in. They have been informed no hot tubs on the balconies. Any concerns on protection? Last time I read some spec's on heat tape and heat trace, there were some limitations, esp the exterior insulation.
