Please re-review NFPA 13, 2002 edition, Section 9.1.1.2, specifically the "hangers certified by a registered professional engineer to include all the following..."
If you want to use the hangers outside of their listing and/or manufacturer's specifications / recommendations, the code requires certification (stamped plan and calculations) by a P.E..
I agree your math seems to work, but I am an AHJ, not your reviewing P.E..
Send be a stamped plan and calc's and I'll likely approve it.

"Reviewed" by "LAR".
I did not see anything that said "Approved."
