Steve went over the temp std pipe drwgs with me this morning. He has a letter stating where fittings are to be used that should clear things up for you that you can staple to the approved plans. The 500 series cplgs are high pressure and the other couplings are rated up to 300 psi. Steve can get you data sheets on these if you don't have them. The Sched 10 pipe is rated up to 300 psi, and the only benefit of Sched 40 pipe over 10 pipe is corrosion resistance, which is not a critical issue with a wet system. The PRV at the top of one of the stairs is a holdover and will be removed. Have your Lt send bhose@cityofwestminster.us an email on std pipe operations.
