Mike >>> Jim Buckner <Jim.Buckner@davispartnership.com> 06/26/09 3:40 PM >>> Mike, I will get the contractor to send you the electronic copy (CD) of the fire alarm plans. Our architectural RCP's typically do not show sprinkler or detectors since they are generated prior to shop drawings. I will check on the missing information you are needing and give you a call. I do not see the ceiling height on the plans except for bathrooms and closets (8 ft). It does show a ridge beam on AF9level4 at 15'8" but the ceiling continues to slope at 9:12 I assume to the wall? The plans show another ridge at 11' 9" but again, with the drawings as they show up, I cannot tell where it starts and finishes due to the level of detail. Second, these are RCP's but do not contain the fire sprinkler or fire detection devices. I cannot extrapolate the locations from the fire alarm plans. I was expecting a cd or electronic copy of the fire alarm plans. Not sure I've got those. AF9 Level 5 does not appear to show any slope. AF9 Level 6 does not show the ceiling height in the again except for closets and bathrooms. Maybe JCI should submit a blow up detail.
