General Information:
All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. Please
refer to the submittal requirements for the particular approval that is requested. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department. The
project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and /or the Planning and Environmental Commission.
Design review approval lapses unless a building permit is issued and construction commences within
one year of the approval.

Dear John,
I am writing in response to your application for design review for changes to approved
plans for Lots 11 and 12, Block 7, Bighorn 5th subdivision. The following are comments
that need to be addressed in order to continue review of these applications:
1. Please provide details of the materials of all retaining walls, including depiction of
materials on the elevations, color samples, and other supporting materials.
2. Please provide more landscaping between the two structures, as well as
between structures and the retaining walls. It is preferable to utilize evergreen
trees in order to provide year -round screening of the retaining walls.
3. Please provide full structural plans with all calculations for the walls.
