Dear Sirs:
The purpose of this letter is to convey the approval of the Potato Patch Townhomes, for the
Owner of Unit C to install a heated paver driveway. This approval is contingent upon the
following:
l. Approval is granted based on the location of Unit C
2. No specific or applied approval is granted for any special or expanded right as to egress,
ingress or use of the Association ground owned in common by its members.
3. Any and all costs including,but not limited to, the cost of the work and cleaning up during or
after the work shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. In addition,
any and all costs required to return any disturbed landscaping or irrigation system to their
existing state shall be at the expense of the Owner and his sole responsibility. If, during the
course of construction, any trees are damaged or removed, Owner shall pay the Association
for replacement of said trees at locations to be determined solely by the Association.
4. Owner and all future Owners of Unit C shall bear the costs of maintaining the driveway and
heating system. The redwood decking shall be sealed with a natural, that is, colorless, wood
sealant. All future maintenance of these elements may be done by the Association, at its sole
discretion, and all related expenses shall be charged to the Applicant.

5. All rights and obligations between the Applicant and the Association, as set out in the
Condominium Declaration and other governing documents with respect to this approval and
the work contemplated thereby,remain in full force and effect.

Rachel, The Potato Patch Townhome Board of Directors helped to select the paver color and will
require any owner to use the same pavers if they wish to do the same to their unit. They are hopeful
