BUILDING DEPARTMENT COMMENTS 1 Revise plans to include a site plan showing location of the deck, and lot property lines 2 Revise plans to show minimum 36” height at deck guard rail 3 Revise plans to reference the 2009 IRC/IBC as adopted by Town of Vail 4 Clarify note “verify existing piers”. Please have the engineer indicate the existing foundation is acceptable for the new deck construction, or include plans for new footing work in accordance with 2009 IRC/IBC.
