75 S. Frontage Rd. must include the following. Permit application will not be accepted

• A Colorado Registered Engineer's stamp or N.I.C.E.T. Level III (min) stamp.
• Equipment cut sheets of materials.
• Hydraulic calculations.
• A State of Colorado Plan Registration form.
• Plans must be submitted by a Registered Fire Protection Contractor.

RE: Lionshead Transit 350 South Frontage Road
Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler Dry Standpipe
system that will be performed by Western States Fire Protection at Lionshead Transit 350 South
Frontage Road.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
: Relocate Fire Department Connection approximately (5) five feet to the south of current location to
accommodate the building remodel.
All added materials will be compatible to the existing system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970 - 618 -3294.
