We had the city of Vail remove 2 dead pine trees (100feet tall)on the wet lands lot next door that were leaning towards our house. Please remove whatever trees are necessary to contain this problem. Joyce & I are getting ready to leave for Australia in a few weeks. Our first trip there, so we are excited to see that country. Heading to Vail the first weekend of November, and then returning in January. Hope to catch you there. Best wishes to your family. It was so nice to enjoy boating and swimming at the cottage these past few months. A few weeks ago we were informed by our gardener that we need to remove some trees on our property that are diseased. The party wall agreement requires both owners to agree. I do not like taking trees down so I am doing so reluctantly. Depending on how the property looks afterwards you have my commitment to replace them at my expense if we feel it's necessary. Over the past few years we have planted over 30 new trees and I don't mind doing more if needed. I do not want either of us to lose trees that are currently healthy because of this disease spreading. Perhaps you are or have been on holidays but Lucie recently asked if you could send an email to us http : / /sn112w.snt112.mail.live.com/ mail/ PrintMessages .aspx ?cpids= ...3ecb4,m &isSafe= true &FolderlD = 00000000 - 0000 - 0000 - 0000 - 000000000001 Page 1 of 2 Windows Live Hotmail Print Message 9/9/10 1:16 AM (and copy Moon above) confirming your approval. According to the Town Of Vail regulations we only have until Sept 10 to remove the trees. As a housekeeping note I have approved the payment for repairs to your snow melt system and asked my controller to forward a cheque to you. He returns from holidays Tuesday and I will confirm it was sent . If you would like to discuss either subject please call my cell 416 - 602 -6471. All the best think snow !!
