More specifically, my clients are Dr. Daniel L. Brod and Valerie Garner, who recently closed on the purchase of Unit 1-1, and they are seeking to obtain approval for installation of a hot tub at the existing elevated wood deck of their unit. Although the option of adding a new exterior stairway leading from the mid-level deck down to finish grade was part of our initial discussions about this deck remodel, my clients have decided not to build a new exterior stairway. The anticipated scope of work includes structural reinforcement of existing deck joists and provision of electrical supply connections per outdoor spa manufacturer's requirements.
