The existing system is an AFP-400 addressable fire control panel. As a part of this remodel the contractor reworking the West portion of the unit. The master bedroom is being expanded and a changing room is being added. The current fire control panel cannot support the FAPT-851 smoke detector and sounder bases as preferred by Vail Fire. Our option for this unit is to provide single station Gentex 9120H smoke detectors with isolated heat detector contact monitored by a FMM-101 addressable relay module for the unit. Currently there are no fire alarm devices installed in this unit. The scope of work for this project will be to provide and install five (5) new Gentex 9120H smoke detectors and two (2) SPW speaker only devices. The smoke detectors will be provided in the entry area, living room, outside the bedroom, the changing room and inside the bedroom. The speaker only devices will be installed in the living room and the bedroom. Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
