I inspected the"sistering"of the existing Level One floor joists that is described on S2.0 in ASI#27,dated 2/12/10.
I have deternuned that these joists have been "sistered" in accordance with the intention of this construction
document.
I also reviewed the"sistering"of the existing Level Two and Three floor joists in the north wing of the building(the
area north of Grid C). I have deternuned that these joists have been"sistered"per the framing plans on S3.0 and
S4.0,which were described in ASI#27,dated 2/12/10.
We discussed the 2 '/Z"diameter holes that will be put in some of the members on Levels 2 and 3 during this walk-
through. I have analyzed these conditions,and the parameters for these penetrations are described in RFC#218.
Sheet 52.0 shows the existing W 14�t22 beam extending to the Stair 1 west wall. In reality,the joists within 5'of this
stair wall do not have support from this beam;however,they are adequate in their existing condition.

We reviewed the Levei 3 framing near Grids D,E and F,where the decking had been creased and deflected during
the concrete pour. This areas shouid be reinforced by adding 4x4x3/8 angles @ 2' o.c. below the decking. These
angles should be welded to the W8x13 and the W 12x14 beams with 4"of 3/16"fillet weld.
Finally, we observed the headered framing around the 7x7x1/2 and 8x8x1/2 tube steel columns on Grid E at the
interior conidor wails. The attached detail on Sheet CC-1 describes the connection of these headers to the columns.
