The purpose of my letter is to inform you the Town of Vail Public Works Department has reviewed the revised traffic generation and impact report submitted for the Solaris project and concluded that a traffic impact fee payment is required. Based upon the conclusions of the report, a total of three (3) new vehicle trips will be generated during the peak traffic hour as a result of the new Solaris project. As such, a traffic impact fee payment of $19,500 is required to fulfill the obligations of the project (3 new trips x $6,500 per trip = $19,500). Upon receiving of this letter, please remit a payment of $19,500 to the Town of Vail Community Development Department. Following receipt of said payment, I will update the information contained within the Solaris project file noting that payment has been received and that the obligation for traffic impact mitigation has been satisfied.
