Before placement there was water dripping into the holes on stairway#4. The holes were dried and the dripping water was stopped. While on-site, we observed the placement of reinforcing steel for the first level slab on grade at approximately gridlines SS to B48.4 and MMM to SSS. We observed the reinforcing steel for size, spacing, splice, and clearance. Some of the masonry wall dowels were not properly placed to accommodate cell alignment. This was promptly corrected. Also the diagonal bars around the columns were not installed, this was also promptly corrected. The final placement of the reinforcing steel appeared to be in general accordance with the project plans and specifications. We notified Jeff with PCL of our observations. During the concrete placement we observed that the pump truck prime water was pumped inside the forms. We immediately notified Jeff Thompson with PCL and he stopped the pour so that CMC could remove the water. The prime water appeared to be removed from the formed area. We observed the post tension for number of tendons, spacing, clearance, profile, and the general condition of tendons. PB52 had issues which will be addressed before the pour EOR.
