We observed the hole depth, diameter, cleanliness, and placement of epoxy. The holes were brushed and compressed air was used prior to placement of the epoxy. The reinforcing steel and epoxy appeared to be placed in general accordance with the project plans and specifications. Jeff with PCL was notified of our observations. We observed WVC placing 3/4" gravel for backfill at the exterior pre-cast structure at E- BAAA.2/71. WVC placed aggregate in 18" lifts and used a tamper plate to compact the material.
